Terms of Service

Chapter 1 — General Provisions
Article 1. Purpose
These Terms govern the relationship between Extension Co., Ltd (the “Company”) and members in connection with use of the “segi” service (the “Service”), including the rights, obligations, and liabilities of the parties, and the conditions and procedures for use.
Article 2. Definitions
- “Service” refers to all features provided by the Company, including error monitoring, health checks, PM2 monitoring, and notifications.
- “Member” refers to any person who agrees to these Terms and enters into a service agreement with the Company.
- “Organization” refers to the unit a Member creates or belongs to, alone or with other Members, in order to use the Service.
- “Project” refers to an application monitored within an Organization.
- “Event” refers to error, message, or log data forwarded to the Company by a Member's application via the segi SDK or ingest API.
- Terms not defined here have the meanings prescribed by applicable laws and per-feature documentation.
Article 3. Posting and amendment of Terms
- The Company posts these Terms on the Service so that Members can easily review them.
- The Company may amend these Terms within the limits of applicable law including the Act on the Regulation of Terms and Conditions and the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce.
- Amendments will be announced on the Service no later than 7 days before they take effect, or 30 days before for changes that are unfavorable to Members.
- If a Member does not agree to an amendment, the Member may terminate the agreement. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the amended Terms.
Chapter 2 — Membership
Article 4. Formation of the agreement
- The agreement is formed when an applicant agrees to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy and the Company accepts the application.
- The Company may refuse an application or terminate the agreement after the fact in any of the following cases:
- (a) Use of another person's identity
- (b) False information or omission of required information
- (c) Use of the Service for fraudulent or improper commercial purposes
- (d) Violation of applicable law or these Terms
Article 5. Changes to member information
Members may view and update their personal information in the account settings, and must update it without delay when it changes. The Member is responsible for any disadvantage caused by failing to do so.
Article 6. Account & password security
- Members are responsible for managing their account and password and must not allow third parties to use them.
- If a Member becomes aware of unauthorized use of their account, they must notify the Company immediately and follow its instructions.
- The Company is not liable for damages arising from a Member's failure to comply with the foregoing obligations.
Chapter 3 — Use of the Service
Article 7. Provision of the Service
- The Company provides the following:
- (a) Collection, aggregation, and review of error events
- (b) Remote health checks and PM2 process monitoring
- (c) Email notifications
- (d) Other services developed by the Company or offered through partnerships
- The Service is provided 24/7 in principle; it may be temporarily suspended for maintenance, replacement, failure, or communication outage.
Article 8. Modifications & suspension
- The Company may change or discontinue all or part of the Service for operational or technical reasons.
- Except in cases of intent or gross negligence, the Company is not liable for damages arising from such changes or discontinuations.
Article 9. Member obligations
Members shall not:
- Use another person's information or register false information
- Infringe the intellectual property rights of the Company or any third party
- Defame or disrupt the operations of the Company or any third party
- Post or transmit obscene, violent, or anti-social content
- Disrupt the stable operation of the Service (e.g. excessive traffic, exploitation of vulnerabilities, unauthorized automated access)
- Violate applicable law, these Terms, or any policy set by the Company
Article 10. Company obligations
- The Company will use reasonable efforts to provide the Service stably and continuously.
- The Company will protect Members' personal information in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
- The Company will promptly handle complaints and feedback found to be reasonable.
Article 11. Restrictions on use
The Company may restrict use of the Service or terminate the agreement without prior notice if a Member violates these Terms or applicable law.
Chapter 4 — Termination & Liability
Article 12. Withdrawal
- Members may withdraw at any time via account settings or by request to the Company; the Company will process such requests promptly except as required by law.
- If the Member is the last OWNER of an Organization, the Member must transfer ownership to another member, or terminate the Organization, before withdrawing.
Article 13. Damages
A party that breaches these Terms and causes damage to the other party is liable for the ordinary damages incurred.
Article 14. Disclaimer
- The Company is not liable for inability to provide the Service due to acts of God, war, riot, communication outage, or other force majeure.
- The Company is not liable for service disruptions caused by the Member's own actions.
- The Company does not guarantee the reliability or accuracy of information provided by Members to third parties through the Service and is not liable for resulting damages.
Chapter 5 — Miscellaneous
Article 15. Dispute resolution
The Company and the Member will make good-faith efforts to resolve disputes through mutual consultation. Failing that, applicable laws and customary business practices apply.
Article 16. Governing law & jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. The court having jurisdiction over the Company's principal office shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms.
Article 17. Supplementary terms
Matters not addressed by these Terms are governed by separate operating policies set by the Company and by applicable laws and business customs.
Addendum
These Terms take effect on 2026-05-08.
